Mamai Art Gallery, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the creative spirit in children while equipping them with the skills to turn their talents into tangible business opportunities. Through a wide range of programs, contests, and community events, we create platforms where children can express themselves, learn entrepreneurial skills, and connect across cultures.

About Us

Mamai Art Gallery was founded in 2010 in Kampala, Uganda by Fiona Mamai, a graduate of Makerere University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Fine Arts. Fueled by a passion for art, education, and youth empowerment, Fiona expanded her vision to the United States in 2015, launching her gallery and interactive arts and crafts space in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

Before opening her U.S. gallery, Fiona shared her talents through community service—teaching Sunday school and engaging seniors through creative activities in Waltham, MA.

Today, Fiona continues her mission through a variety of innovative programs:
